  3. I  am  a cleaner for the main branch of British Telecom, one night when I was
  4. throwing  away some rubbish I saw a typed letter from the Chairman of British
  5. Telecom  to  the  Head  of New Scotland Yard.  I gave it to my son and he has
  6. typed it out using his Commodore Omega micro computer keyboard (oh for Christ's 
  7. sake!?! - PoLaRiS).

  9. Here is the letter (Note:Only the important bits are entered here):

  12. On the 2nd Feburary 1992 we will put into action "Operation Bluey", 30 people
  13. who  have  been using Blueboxes for un-authorized use will be raided at 07:00
  14. hours  exactly.   They will then be taken to the Scotland Yard HQ and will be
  15. questioned and detained for several hours.  They will then be charged and put
  16. into  the top security cells.  Court appearances will commense on the 12th of
  17. Feburary and the Press and Media will not hear anything about this because we
  18. will  put a 992 code of silence on the case for 12 years.  All offenders will
  19. recieve  21  years  in  prison and a fine of 3000 pounds each.  Everyone will
  20. sign a silence paper not to talk to the Press or Media.

  23. There was another part to the letter but it got sucked into my Vacume Cleaner
  24. so  I  dont  know what it said!  After reading this letter, my son has thrown
  25. away  all  his pirated software and stopped using the Bluebox completely.  If
  26. he  gets  busted  he hopes to get a lighter sentence by informinig on all the
  27. people he knows that Bluebox.
